RotaDays does not require an account and does not collect any information that
identifies you, such as your name, contact details, or email address. All records
you create in the app — shifts, notes, and photos — are stored only on your device
and are never sent anywhere.
The weather, air quality, and sunrise/sunset features are available only
for locations in Korea and only when the app language is set to Korean.
They work only after you set ‘My location’. If you do not use these features,
no location-related information is sent.
1. Information sent to our server
To show weather, air quality, and UV information, only the following
area codes for the area you selected are sent to our server.
These are public forecast codes covering areas several kilometers wide and cannot
identify where you live or work.

The server stores forecast data per area code only and does not record which user
looked up which area. The stored data therefore cannot be used to identify any
individual.
* As with any internet connection, technical information needed to connect, such as
your IP address, may be processed by Google Firebase infrastructure. RotaDays does
not store or use this information.
2. Location information
You choose your area yourself by searching, down to the neighborhood
(eup/myeon/dong) level. We never ask for a street or building address.
The device location feature is used only when you tap the ‘Current location’
button on the ‘My location’ screen. The coordinates are used on your device
only to find the nearest neighborhood, are discarded immediately, and are never
sent to a server or stored.
Location is never used while the app is in the background.
You can turn off location permission at any time in your device settings.
You can still use the weather features by searching for your area manually.
3. Retention
Your selected area and downloaded forecasts are stored on your device and are
deleted when you delete the app.
Forecast data stored on the server per area code is overwritten each time the
forecast is updated.
Data for areas that no user has looked up for 7 days or more is deleted from the
server automatically.

Storing and delivering forecast data
We do not provide personal information to any of these services. When our server
requests forecasts, it uses only grid numbers, forecast region codes, station names,
and the representative coordinates of the grid center, and never sends information
about your device or identity.

Real-time air quality: AirKorea (Ministry of Environment · Korea Environment
Corporation). This is real-time observation data and may be unavailable depending
on station conditions or data reception.

6. Data transfer and your rights
The only data sent to our server (the area codes above) is processed on Google
Firebase servers located in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Because we do not keep any information that identifies you, there is no personal
data on our server to access, correct, or delete. Deleting the app removes all
of your data from your device.

7. Children
RotaDays is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect
personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will let you know in advance through an in-app notice or
on this page.
